The World Language Department is pleased to announce the names of the students who will represent Madison at the 2023 Governor School’s World Language Academies. High schools in Fairfax County can only nominate two students per language. This year, we are very proud that all our nominees for the three languages we teach at Madison were selected by the VA Department of Education:
- French: Sarah Bennett and Ananya Kumar
- Latin: Sophia Hsu and Hanlin Zhang
- Spanish: Charlotte Feigin and Nina Howell
Acceptance into this program is very competitive. Congratulations to our 6 students for their hard work! We look forward to hearing all about their three-week language experience in the Fall.
