Congratulations to the JMHS Marching Ensemble! 

The JMHS Marching Ensemble had an outstanding performance at this year’s VMBC Commonwealth Cup earning 3rd place with a final score of 94.25!

The Marching Ensemble placed 2nd in Group 6 in the preliminary round winning the Color Guard caption.

Congratulations to the students for a truly outstanding season.

Thank you to ALL of the parents that support the ensemble at the championship and the entire season that made the students’ success possible.

 

Band Concert Season

The Band Concert season is already here!  All are welcome to these festive and free concerts by our amazing JMHS musicians, both concerts are at 7pm in the JMHS Auditorium.

Jazz Band Winter Concert – Thursday, December 12. The JMHS Jazz Ensemble will perform as well as the Thoreau Middle School Bands.

Annual Winter Concert -Tuesday, December 17 .  The concert will feature performances by both the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band.

White House Ornaments!  

The 2024 Official Ornament of the White House Historical Association features a nautical theme representing President Jimmy Carter’s time in the Navy. The ornament has a design that features significant events from Carter’s life and from his time as the 39th President of the United States
