CONGRATULATIONS!
A big congratulations to the Symphonic and Wind Symphony for their amazing performances at Assessments Mar 21-22! For the 11th year in a row, both ensembles were rated superior (on all ratings) – the highest possible score! A special thank you to our chaperones, uniform team, and transportation crew for all your hard work to make the assessment run smoothly for our band program. We truly appreciate it!
A big congratulations to the Winter Guard for their incredible performance of Make Your Way at the AIA Championships at Hampton Coliseum. Having moved up to the more skilled Class 2 this season, our Winter Guard capped things off with a clean performance earning a 2nd place/Silver Medalist finish at the AIA Championships! Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped with meals, driving, equipment transportation, chaperoning, uniforms, and photography this season. The Winter Guard wouldn’t be as successful without you!

Take the night off and treat yourself to dinner at Oakton’s newest eatery, Big Greek Cafe (2930 Chain Bridge Road). Support all the Madison bands and guard with your take-out or dine-in order on Monday, April 21 between 5-9 pm. No special codes … all customer orders during this time help support the Pride of Vienna. It’s a great opportunity to run into other band/guard families!
