JMHS Food Pantry

Thank you for the many, many donations that have been made to the Madison Pantry!  We  distributed hundreds of pounds of food (and hygiene products and cleaning supplies) last Thursday and Friday to our students and families who are food insecure.  However, we no longer will have access to the school and so we are having to rework our efforts to get food to our students and families.

All Amazon orders that had not yet shipped have been cancelled and refunded to the donor.  Deliveries in transit will either be rerouted or cancelled and refunded to the donor later this week.  We are still in the process of determining how best to distribute items received to our families who are food insecure.

At this time, if you want to support our students and their families, we recommend making a Food Bank donation to our Madison Pantry.   We are a 501c3 and the funds are most flexible to address the needs of our families in this ever-changing situation.  When we determine the best way to support our students and families in need then we will either distribute funds through gift cards directly to the students and their families or purchase and deliver food and other items to them and/or support local food programs.

Also, Cunningham Park Elementary School in Vienna has been added to the list of Grab and Go locations and our Madison students and families can receive food at that location as well.  Breakfast will be available from 8:00-10:30 a.m and lunch from 10:30 – 2:00 p.m.  The food is FREE for anyone 18 and younger and $2 for adults over 18.  Any child qualifies.

Thank you for your caring and continued support!

Please help spread the word to the Vienna Community!
