October 20 was MAD Music Day where Orchestra and Choir performed for local students. It was a great day of wonderful music for hundreds of Vienna students! It was amazing to have live music again at Madison.
Please support Madison music efforts at our Dine Out Night—November 16 at Panera on Maple Ave from 4:00-8:00pm.
Coming up, we are looking forward to “The Snowman in Concert” on Saturday, December 11 from 10:30am onwards. This is a fundraiser for Orchestra and Chorus that includes a viewing of the holiday classic while our Chamber Orchestra and Choirs perform the music to accompany the film. Following the movie, the children and adults in the audience will be invited to participate in craft stations, photos with Santa and the Snowman and holiday treats to go. Masks will be required in the building per FCPS guidance. We are hoping for a large turnout from the community! More information regarding online ticket sales information, and volunteer/donation sign up sheets will be sent out in a few weeks. Please support Madison’s Performing Arts Program by attending and bringing as many friends as you would like to this annual holiday event! We are currently recruiting volunteers for the following committees: Publicity, Decorations, Crafts, Santa’s Corner and Food. Please contact Sheila at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.
