PTSA Senior Scholarships

The PTSA will award scholarships to six (6) seniors from the Class of 2026 at this year’s Convocation ceremony.

PTSA “Making a Difference” Scholarship ($1000): to two (2) seniors who exemplify service within the school and community. This award recognizes involvement in school activities, volunteer work, community service, paid work such as babysitting, helping family members, or other efforts that enrich the lives of others.

JMHS Class of 1975 Scholarships ($1250): to two (2) deserving seniors—one who plans to attend a two- or four-year college and one who plans to attend a trade school. Please complete the Making a Difference essay to apply for this scholarship.  The Class of 1975 celebrated their 50th class reunion this past Fall and has generously donated $2500 to be used for these scholarships.

PTSA Beth Eachus Service Award ($1500): to one (1) senior who demonstrates a strong commitment to fostering an inclusive community.

Criteria: Seniors who plan to attend a two-year or four-year college or a trade/technical school.

Applicants will need to write an essay described here and provide a recommendation letter.  There is an optional resume upload.  Applications and letters of recommendation are due on Monday, May 4th for consideration. Scholarship recipients will be announced at Convocation.
